My client is a nationally recognised, Bristol based law firm with 37 Partners and over 250 staff.
They have a national practice in the education, public and real estate sectors and regionally the firm offers a dedicated service to corporate and private clients. Clients include over 700 independent schools, national developers, central government departments, trading funds and local authorities across England and Wales, as well as several household names.
The focus of their commercial & projects team is to support both their private and public sector clients in all their commercial business activities. They have a brief to expand the existing team and are looking for a solicitor with around 2 years’ PQE with proven expertise in commercial contract work and with the motivation to continue to expand the business. The rewards will include outstanding opportunities for promotion within the team.
A sound academic background coupled with relevant experience are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they can develop strong client relationships, draft documents that are clear and concise, give succinct commercial contractual advice focused on helping clients to choose the best course of action, research the relevant legal issues applicable to a case and conduct negotiations where appropriate.
