£30,000 - £35,000 (DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE)
My client is a leading law firm that prides itself on the provision of clear and concise legal advice to a broad range of commercial clients throughout the UK and beyond. They have a global presence, with offices throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.
As a result of an increase in the volume of work, they are currently seeking to employ a solicitor, barrister or legal executive to work in their defendant industrial disease and personal injury team, handling a range of occupational disease cases.
The successful applicant will need to possess:
• Relevant Legal Qualifications
• Admission (or no bar to admission) to Law Society
• Sound technical skills
• IT literate
• Verbal and numerical reasoning skills
• Ability to analyse and evaluate information logically
• Creative/imaginative, articulate and fluent
• Good level of written skill
• Attention to detail
• Good planning skills
• Marketing skills
• Public speaking skills
Ideally you will have had experience of defendant personal injury and cases involving asbestos exposure, vibration white finger, industrial deafness, occupational asthma, dermatitis, work related stress, RSI etc., though they are willing to consider exceptional candidates with experience of running their own defendant personal injury caseload with experience of EL/PL work.
