PERSONAL INJURY SOLICITOR

My client is a Legal 500 and Chambers-rated law firm, providing personal and business focused legal solutions from their head office in south Wales. Having seen almost exponential growth in recent years, they are now seeking to further facilitate expansion by recruiting experienced personal injury solicitors to work from their offices in Cardiff.
Duties
Your main duties will be to:
- Offer supervisory and technical support to members of the team; and
- Run your own caseload of personal injury cases.
Competencies
Essential Competencies Required Are:
- Strong technical knowledge of running a personal injury claim;
- Ability to prioritise work;
- Organisational skills;
- Computer skills;
- Excellent verbal communication skills;
- Can work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Preferred Competencies Required Are:
- Ability to use a case management system; and
- Management / supervisory skills.
Experience
Essential Experienced Required:
- Substantial PI experience: handling your own caseload with minimal supervision;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Experience of handling difficult clients on the telephone;
- Experience of having worked under pressure; and
- Experience of meeting regular targets.
