My client is a leading South West law firm, ranked among the top ten in Bristol. They are known for their forward-thinking, proactive and client-focused approach to providing a range of legal services for individuals and businesses in the region. The Wills and Tax Planning Team are looking to recruit a Full Time Solicitor to assist the team in our North Somerset Office.
The firm has a high performance culture, where clients are the number one priority. Commercial and technical knowledge is a given. However, they look for more. Good client handling skills are essential, as is the enthusiasm to take on responsibility and the entrepreneurial spirit to generate new work for yourself and your team through active marketing. Such qualities will mark you out for early progression to Associate and Partner level.
The successful candidate will have had a minimum of 4 years experience in wills, tax planning, probate, trust creation and trust administration work. The candidate should have dealt independently with matters from commencement to conclusion. It is also important that the relevant candidate can evidence a client following, no matter how small, as this evidences the requisite skill set to thrive within this practice.
Applicants need to be highly numerate, organised and capable of working on their own initiative. They should also have experience of achieving and maintaining chargeable hours and fee income targets. Applicants will also be required to take responsibility for administration activities associated with running a full time caseload and be committed to building and maintaining their position in a vibrant and dynamic team.
