My client is a small but expanding firm in the Merthyr area with a reputation for good PI work. As a result of an increase in instructions, they are now seeking a junior PI lawyer to join their small team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the running of claimant files in the PI department, together with dealing with clients and taking initial instructions upon matters.
The firm has developed as a progressive practice and employees enjoy relationships of mutual respect for each other. Essential to this post are an undergraduate law degree with relevant post-graduate qualifications and ideally some experience in PI law and civil litigation, as well as good advocacy skills, communications skills and interpersonal skills. Experienced Legal Executives may also be considered for this position. The successful applicant will receive as much supervision as required until competent and capable of standing on their own two feet.
