RESIDENTIAL CONVEYANCING SOLICITOR 5 PQE+
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE

My client, a long established but highly progressive Buckinghamshire practice, is currently looking for a residential conveyancer with exposure to the full range of domestic and residential conveyancing work. It is imperative that, as well as being able to run transactions from inception to completion, you are a solid team player with a desire to supervise and mentor junior team members on more complex issues as and when they arise. You will be a pragmatic and charismatic individual, with a sufficient amount of gravitas to maintain existing relationships as well as developing new ones with local agents and other related contacts.
Part of your role if successful will encompass the following:
- To work on behalf of clients buying, selling or transferring property or requiring other conveyancing services, e.g. deeds of easement, mortgages, transfers of equity or family related property work.
- To deal with all legal matters, paperwork and queries involved in a property transaction
- To process and agree contracts, transfer, mortgages and leases etc. and draw up all the documents.
- To advise clients on the technical content of the documents and their financial implications.
- To understand and implement the requirements of lenders.
- To research property related points and find solutions to problematical situations
- To develop contacts with local agents and other legal service providers.
- To be prepared to play a leading role in the implementation of a case management system and other I.T. driven solutions to provide more efficient conveyancing procedures, but at the same time providing a bespoke service to clients.
