BANKING LITIGATION SOLICITOR 2 - 4 PQE

£MARKET LEADING SALARY
My client, a leading firm with offices in Cardiff, is currently seeking a solicitor of between 2 - 4 years PQE with significant experience of banking litigation to join a specialist litigation unit. The successful applicant will run a file load of secured and unsecured litigated claims, acting for the Claimant in what is a client facing role requiring client service/management skills. You will report to an associate and will have a client development role to compliment your fee earning and supervisory activity.
The work is intellectually challenging but focused on a discrete sector so a high degree of expertise can be developed, and there may also be future opportunity for you to supervise Trainees or Legal Assistants dealing with unsecured defended banking litigation cases and secured litigation, as well as enforcement.
Applicants should be solicitors/barristers with civil litigation experience (preferably Banking Litigation), who can demonstrate client service excellence skills. You will need a basic grounding in litigation practice and procedure, coupled with good communication skills. You will also need to be a team player who is committed and possesses tact and sound judgment.
