PERSONAL INJURY LITIGATOR

£27,000 - 32,000 (DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE)
My client, a multi site firm with offices in Cardiff, is seeking to recruit a personal injury litigator to manage a caseload of litigated fast track personal injury cases with a value of up to around £15,000. Successful applicants will also be required to assist with training and development of junior fast track members of their team as appropriate, and will also provide supervision in relation to technical case handling issues.
We are looking for a candidate with significant experience of RTA claims in either a solicitors or insurance environment who is a law and / or LPC graduate / Legal Executive/Solicitor to join the team. Ideally you will have experience of running fast track, files preferably cases including instances of special damages, self employed loss of earnings, multi-occupancy vehicles and disposal hearings where personal injury quantum is disputed. You will also have a willingness to keep up to date with legal developments in these areas and share you knowledge in a team focused environment.
You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines, income targets, and KPI’s. You will be familiar with using case management systems. A strong focus on client care, good interpersonal skills and demonstrable negotiation skills is essential in this role. Experience of supervising a small team would be an advantage.
Working in a large team you will be supervised and coached by more experienced litigators, enabling you to further develop your knowledge and expertise.
